Humane Society of Marion County — a No Kill Shelter

Our Mission

Animal Care — compassion, advocacy, and education for every animal in need.

The Humane Society of Marion County is committed to preventing cruelty, suffering, and overpopulation of animals through compassionate care, advocacy, and education. We strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for all animals, ensuring they receive the care they deserve. By promoting responsible pet ownership and fostering community partnerships, we aim to reduce animal overpopulation, eliminate suffering, and ultimately find loving, forever homes for every pet in need. Through outreach and education, we work to inspire a culture of kindness and respect for animals throughout our community.
