Court-Ordered & Pretrial Volunteers If you need community service hours for court, PreTrial Diversion, or PreTrial Intervention (PTI), you can complete them through our Court Program.
How to Get Started:
Wait up to 72 hours to hear from staff via email.
Follow the instructions in the email and fill out your agreement (found in the email).
Visit the Humane Society: 701 NW 14th Rd Ocala FL 34475. Please visit us during our business hours (Monday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and bring the following information:
Valid ID
Hours sheet from your P.O. or sentencing agency (we also have a generic form available).
$10 cash administrative fee
Start Immediately: You may start volunteering immediately if shifts are available.
Hours: Once you are signed up, you may come in as early as 7 AM and stay as late as 6 PM.
Please note that if you need your hours closed out, signed off on, or sent off, you can only do so during business hours (Monday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM).

Eligibility & Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
We must have available space in the program.
Dress Code: Please adhere to the following dress code:
No short shorts, fingertip length required, pants preferred
Mandatory: No sandals or flip-flops. Shoes must be rubber-soled, closed-toed shoes.
No tank or tube tops; no bare midriff showing.
No revealing and/or offensive clothing.
Please note that clothes may get dirty and/or be exposed to bleach.
